← Back to Spam Blocker App
TL;DR 🕶️ — Spam Blocker App does not collect, store, sell, or share your personal data. There are no ads and no trackers. Everything runs on your device. Optional online features (which are off by default) only contact third-party services when you explicitly enable and trigger them.

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy covers the use of the Spam Blocker App Android application, maintained by Julkarnine Rokey and PiTech (Progressive Information Technology). The app is a rebrand of, and based on, the open-source SpamBlocker by aj3423 (MIT License), and shares its privacy-respecting design.

2. Data we collect

None. When running, Spam Blocker App does not use, collect, store, or share any statistics, personal information, or analytics about you, your device, or your usage — beyond the standard Android operating-system mechanisms present for all mobile apps.

The app contains no advertising SDK and no tracker. Cookies are never used, stored, or shared.

3. Compliance

Spam Blocker App is designed to be compliant with GDPR, HIPAA, and CCPA privacy regulations, because it does not collect personal data.

4. On-device storage

As indirect identification data, the app only stores external API keys — and only when you add them — stored solely on your device. All external interactions require a user action (at minimum pressing a button) unless you explicitly configure them to run automatically, which is always disabled by default.

5. Optional third-party services

The following features are optional and only communicate externally when you enable and use them:

No personal data is sent to or shared with anyone by the app. Any data seen by a third-party service is a result of the network request your device makes to it. When you use an online feature, the destination service may observe:

Third-party services do not necessarily collect all of the above — always refer to the specific service's own privacy policy.

6. Permissions

All Android permissions are optional and requested only for the specific feature that needs them (e.g. ANSWER_PHONE_CALLS to reject calls, RECEIVE_SMS for SMS screening, READ_CONTACTS to match contacts, INTERNET for optional online features). Grant only what you want to use. A full breakdown is available in the app's README.

7. Children's privacy

Spam Blocker App is a general-audience utility and is not directed at children. It collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
